Via Teatro Greco is the street you use when leaving Corso Umberto to walk to the Theatre. It has an incline, It also has some greenery.

Mobbed with tourists, overrun by souvenir shops and far too many street vendors and panderers. Much prefer the Corso Umberto.

This street leeds uphill to the famous Greek Theatre. It’s narrow with old buildings. It has a special, relaxing vibe. We liked walking there.

This was not an overly impressive stretch of "via" (avenue) but it did have some attractive plantings and some architectural character along the way.

We were there late in the afternoon and it had such a relaxing vibe. Would have been great to stay for the sunset but we had to leave.

Taking this narrow street down from the Ancient Theater takes you into an old part of the city with a lot of souvenir shops, beautiful flowers, interesting buildings, and other thought provoking sights.

This street is so unique. All the stairs are covered in greenery, you fell as if you step into a botanical garden.

This street is the only way to enter the Greek theater. On the side are souvenir shops. When there are many people on their way to the theater, there is congestion in the street because the street is too narrow for many visitors.
There are some nice viewpoint on the right side of the street when you walk towards the theater.

A must visit . Costs €10 each which is ok. There could be a bit more done to keep it clean . A whole lot of visitors come through out the day .

All along the route to the Greek theatre are shops selling everything you could imagine - but probably don't need - local food specialities, fabulously expensive jewellery and beautiful ceramics as well as loads of street hawkers! Have fun!
