Now that you’ve been enthralled by the series White Lotus and have decided to travel to Sicily, specifically near Taormina, you need more than a tour guide to show you the real Sicilia. Corrado’s tours are the perfect complement to any visit to Mt. Etna and the surrounding area. If you want to have a trusted and brilliant guide to show you the layers of Sicilian ecology, which is entwined with the island’s culture and history, I highly recommend these customizable tours. My father (Sicilian born) and I were led on an amazing half-day journey from the coast, up Mt. Etna, and back down. We hiked the north side of Mt. Etna and saw ancient craters from eruptions along with the "life" returning after centuries. We listened to Corrado’s stories about the land and vegetation and, then, capped off the day at a vineyard where they paired wine and food to perfection. We figuratively and literally “drank in the landscape.”

This was our second tour with Corrado. Our first, back in May 2019, included, of course, stunning vistas from Mt. Etna but also a chance to marvel at the 4,000-year-old Hundred-Horse Chestnut Tree in Sant’Alfio. If you’re ready to do more than scratch the surface of Northeast Sicily, book a tour with Corrado, who is more than just a tour guide—he’s an ambassador of the culture and ecology of the land. Grazie mille, Corrado!

My partner and me recently went on a private trekking tour of around 5 hours of Mount Etna with Corrado, and it was an incredible experience that exceeded all of our expectations. Corrado was an excellent guide who was incredibly knowledgeable about the history, geology, and ecology of the volcano and the surrounding area.

Throughout the tour, Corrado shared fascinating facts and stories about the volcano, and he took us to some truly stunning locations away of the crowds of tourists, that offered incredible views of the surrounding landscape.

If you're considering a tour of Mount Etna and you've stumbled upon this review, I highly recommend booking with Corrado :)

Corrado proved to provide us with a guided tour which suited us perfectly.
His background in geology & as a native nature guide means you will receive good information about Etna and the area around as well as the nature surroundings. And he is good company as well!
Highly recommended!

The tour was both highly informative as well as enjoyable. Corrado picks a specific route that incorporates many of the volcanic features of the Etna mountain, as well as its great views. The tour was given to us in English. It was intersting and easy to follow. We learned a lot and highly recommend the experiance!

Corrado is an amazing resource because of his knowledge, communication skills, and flexibility. His familiarity with the area makes allows him to specialize and personalize a visit. We ( agroup of 18) took advantage of Corrado twice. The visit to Mt Etna and the Gambino vineyards was so very informative and interesting because of Corrado's professionalism. A second visit to the Gole dell'Alcantara was made even more fun and easy thanks to his familiarity of the area. Corrado's english skills are excellent. His personality, punctuality, and professionalism make him a true gem! Mille grazie, amico mio, Corrado.

We went on a naturalistic tour of the south side of Etna. Corrado is a fantastic guide who is extremely knowledgeable, knows the best views and routes, and provides the information to you in a way that you can remember the interesting facts about Etna and the terrain. He was extremely efficient during booking and made the whole hiking experience fun and relaxing.

Had a brilliant day with Corrado, who was born and bred in the area, who's knowledge of the history, biology and geology helped us understand more about Mount Etna and surrounding area. Will definitely book again when next back in Sicily. Thanks Corrado for an excellent tour.
