We saw this on a Tuesday night as I believe there was a tour group booked in. The sign out the front says sat and sun - so if you’re interested the lesson is email phone or Facebook and ask! We paid 14 euro entry...More

I wanted to see this because it is so much of Palermo and Sicily's history. I loved it and think everyone will enjoy such a visit. You might need to book but it's worth it. A real fun night out.

On a trip to SIcily we stayed for a few nights in Palermo. We were looking for some entertainment other than opera or ballet and found this family run puppet show in a side street by the cathedral. Amazing! So large and believable. WE do...More

Arrive by 6pm and buy tickets (10 euros) for a 6.30pm start. The calendar of shows is on their Facebook page. There are not a huge number of seats. It's a fun way to spend an hour seeing something that you've never seen the like...More

We came upon this theater by chance and were impressed by the craftsmanship and ability of the puppeteers. Each character had its own personality and the story was well portrayed. The show is good for all ages; not just chldren.

The performance is enhanced by a manually operated music box !! which adds to...More

I've noticed that most people are reviewing the theatre and the experience, but very little about the actual content. That's like reviewing a cinema without mentioning the film, so I'm going to give my interpretation of the puppet-based play, drawn from a lifetime of watching...More

The puppet theatre is tucked in a side road opposite the Cathedral and is easy to miss. Inside a small room is a tiny puppet theatre run by the same family since its inception early in the 20th C. The commentary and the introduction was...More

Meeting some of the people behind the scenes before the show was was a treat because the owners are so enthusiastic. The show itself was great fun! It didn't matter if you could not speak Italian because it was usually clear what was happening on...More
