Yes - many many different species of trees but interesting for all that. Probably a good idea to have some deet in your pocket as there are certainly some pretty vicious (and invisible!) biting insects hiding in the bushes. Next door to the Villa Giulia,...More

My husband and I visited this botanical garden on a Sunday at the end of September and loved our visit. It was a reasonable six euros each entry fee and the gardens are large enough to keep you occupied for a good couple of hours....More

Looking a little tired and uncared for but this is Sicily and not West London and no doubt money is tighter there and the weather less accommodating, though local plants ought not to mind! Quite an extensive area and given to showing multiple examples of...More

Exceeded my expectations. These gardens are beautiful and spectacular. Top tip - take insect repellent!

Many University botanical gardens have free access, so we paid the 12 euros with high expectations. The garden is medium sized, plants are interesting. We did not enjoy due to mosquitos, each of us had 3-4 stings.

A great place to relax and unwind in the city. We spent several hours wandering through the various plants and enjoying the beautiful weather.

Don't miss this tranquil place in busy Palermo. The gardens are more about exotic trees than flowers but it is still worth going for the peace and quiet and unusual trees.
