What a grand & beautiful square with this stunning church as a focus surrounded by other grand buildings- The University etc. A treat- beats Cathedral Square in P'boro!

Visited the piazza today with friends. It is very large. Only a few restaurants in the square. Has a nice elephant statue that nobody knows the meaning behind the statue.

Piazza Duomo has a wonderful fountain in the center, historical buildings, Churches, shops, restaurants, and bars. It is a wonderful place to sit, relax, and people watch.

This is a UNESCO site and you can understand why. So many impressive buildings to view. Great atmosphere both day and night.

Good place to hang out and sit and watch the world go by. Nice cafes and lively old building surround the square. Need to watch out for occasional buses and cars which are allowed to enter the square.

Lively and cultured with shops and (rather dear) restaurants. It has a beautiful fountain and is the starting point for lovely long streets.

No, there no charges to go in the Square.. The best street to walk in, from the Square, is Via Etna. That's where the best shops and restaurants are.

Yes, there is a big parking near the Piazza Duomo, not very expensive.

Yes. It is really easy and close, just exit from the port, turn left and walk following the archs. You'll arrive at "Porta Uzeda" at your right. Cross it and you'll be there.
