We were picked up by the guide and the rest of the group close to our hotel (train station in Catania). Then it was a drive for estimated 1 hour up to 2000 meters. From there we walked up on some of the craters, the...More

Staying near Catania, mount Etna is about a 45 minute drive away. The journey in the way is simply stunning. I'd recommend stopping along the way to take snaps and soak up the scale of Etna. At the summit there's plenty to do for tourists,...More

It all started with the perfect organization by Simona in the office: we entered the room as she was talking to a french family. She quickly told us that she would be there for us in a minute (which gave us a feeling of being...More

Pick up at hotel on time at 9 AM. We had a group of 4 + a 5 months old baby. That gave no issues at all. Informative tour up and around Etna: brief honey and wine tasting, cave visit. Highlights: a small eruption of...More

I only do guided tours for things that would be hard to do by myself and this morning trip to Mt Etna was one of the best ever. We set off on time in a 4WD (not a bus) at 8.30 with Andrea, the guide,...More

Our guide for the day was Marco and I have to say he was knowledgable, friendly and chatty throughout the whole of the tour. I was a bit disappointed that the 4WD did not go off road but as this was not promised in the...More

We visited on a Sunday and was a small group. Our guide Antonio, was super passionate and knowledgeable about the history and landscape of the whole region. Would strongly recommend this tour!

Hello! We froze! It was hailing golf ball sized hail and then rain and it was cold. The cold weather didn't last forever; only towards the top of the mountain. Rest of the day, we were plenty warm in shorts/tee shirt.
