Unfortunately it was fenced off for repair when we visited but it's a great photo shot & you can grab a coffee or light lunch in surrounding area.

The main stairs are under reconstruction, but the Bastione can be accessed from other side (we took a street on the left side) and then walked up to the highest level of the Bastione. The view from up there is very nice.

This was a great place - not just to look at, but behind the front you could get up to the top and have a great view over the city! Amazing!

A very nice open space on the top. Good views. Worth a visit. Point to note is that there is a lift to take you back to street level on the left of the site.

This particular construction of Cagliari in the Piazza Costituzione, is a good point to start the visit at Castello.
