Worth visiting if you have half day, the citadel offers stunning views. We have visited the place in the afternoon but did not have enough time to wait for sunset which I think will be awesome.

When you visti Castelsardo old town you can climb up to the citadel. Not spectaculair but oke for a visit. Nice views.
