Beautiful stone bridge which is atmospheric by day or night. Not to be missed. Some nice restaurants in this area too.

This was a nice place to have lunch outside with a great view of the Ponte Pietra. The service was good and the food was excellent. There are a few places in this restaurant to sit and people were going through the restaurant to sit...More

Bridge has sales tents all across the deck so hard to appreciate the structure. The walking sidewalk on the outside of the city river is a good way to avoid the crowds and still see all of the significant bridges.

This is a very picturesque bridge and the history makes it even more special. It was bombed as the Germans were leaving Italy and the locals fished the stones out of the river to rebuild it. Originally a roman bridge.

It's worth the walk to this top part of the old town and a wander across the bridge to enjoy the views back across the river. This is also where the roman amphitheater is, which we didn't visit (it didn't look like much was left)....More

This bridge has a steep pitch to walk up and over the waterway. It has great views due to the height.

What a way to come into the city! It really brings the charm of Verona to life. The bridge and it surroundings bring the medieval side of the city to life.

The bridge is at the north of the old town. Very good conservation. Very nice to take a picture there. You must see it.

I, like others, did not find the funicular, and so walked the steps. Surprisingly it was graduated in a way that was not too strenuous. It was a gorgeous day and many people made the climb, so I was surprised and disappointed that the cafe...More

The views from this bridge are beautiful, as is the bridge itself. Definitely worth walking across, esp if the weather is good.
