The castle was built during the second half of the 14 century by the Lords of Verona ,the della Scala ,as defensive works and has during the centuries almost exclusively been used for military purposes. 6 Euro entrance fee to the museum. Very interesting museum...More

This museum is exceptional. You will see a lot of sacred art from the Middle Ages and prior eras. Photography is allowed with no flash. Plan on at least 1 and a half hour visit if not 2 hours. Your tickets allows you to walk...More

A beautiful collection, set inside stunning grounds, overlooking lovely gardens. Easy to walk around and you get some fantastic views on the bridge. Well worth a visit.

You can go into the grounds without paying, but not into the building or around the battlements
