... but very crowded. Too crowded unfortunately. Nevertheless, the place is stunning with its spears and marble decorations.

The church buildings form a complex and are stunningly beautiful places of worship full of works of devotion. Amazing and lovely to look around.

This is an ancient cathedral with a well designed modern practical worship area. We went to a concert one evening but don't expect good acoustics; not built of for simple PA systems !!

The Duomo is really interesting in terms of the facade and how you can see it has been influenced by different time periods. The inside is impressive too but the outside is the main attraction

There are many churches and cathedrals in Verona, all of them great in their own way. this is the best, and if you only have time to visit one, make it this one.

There is a combination ticket that gets you into 5 churches and it is well worth it and all are worth seeing. The dumo is beautiful and the other older churches next to the site are interesting.

The complex include San Giovanni in Fonte, Santa Elena and the Canon’s cloister. The Cathedral is the central structure. The baptistery of the Cathedral was rebuild around 1123 A.D. Wonderful piece of art and history.
