We called in here for a drink or two before dinner but found we had trouble dragging ourselves away!!! A really good selection of beers from around Europe and a varied clientele. The hook for us was the music which was from the 60's and...More

We had drinks last night, spritz and Guinness, all good. Place is nice. Good music, nice staff and people overall. Not so crowded. Reasonable prices. Today we came to eat sandwiches for a quick lunch and they were very tasty.

We were here a couple of years ago and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. So we couldn't pass up the chance to visit again. Popped in quite a number of times, either on our way to (or back from) the "sights". Easily the best/coolest Guinness in Venice....More

With very few pubs in Venice this was a welcome find. It may be a small bar, and one of the obligatory Irish pubs you find when on holiday but it was a bit like finding an oasis in a desert (bereft of pubs). Most...More

Cannaregio is the second largest sestiere (district)
with its busy Santa Lucia train station. Many
transplanted Venetians commute from the outlying
areas, “terra firma” to the locals, which is shorthand
for any place that is not Venice. Two Grand Canal
bridges serve Cannaregio, the newest (Constitution,
2008) still a local hotbed of controversy. Ponte degli
Scalzi is a busy link to the train station. Nearby
