Housed in the 18th century Quartieri Militari, not far from the city centre, this is an interesting, albeit slightly grim reminder of dark times in Italy's history. Without wishing to be too trite, it also reminds us of the incredible bravery of some. Very multimedia...More

After walking for a while to find the place, we ended up not going in as there was not much in English. Although after reading some of the reviews on here, I am wondering if it was a good thing walking g away.

This museum is placed in the basement of an old institution and has a good atmosphere. It is entirely multimedia, with old movie clips on each of the themes covered and some interviews of People affected. Crazy to see people become communists just to oppose...More

We learned a lot during our recent visit to the Museo Diffuso della Resistenza. The museum has a great permanent display on everyday life in wartime Turin, with many interactive panels showing videotaped testimonials from people who lived through the trauma of the war. It...More

Museo Diffuso explains, also in English, what happened to citizens here during the Second World War. It is well organized to lead the visitor to different exhibits in a somber atmosphere. A guide takes the visitor to the lower area where people hid to avoid...More
