This palace museum is opulence extreme. Every room is ornate to the point of saturation. You could spend an entire day in the armory, if that is your taste - beautiful collection. Worth the trip.

A veritable collection of armour and weapons spanning seven centuries and several continents started by King Carlo Alberto in 1837. Pride of place is given to his stuffed horse which stand among cases of guns and swords.

You will feel in another world among all those swords! Very nice collections. Horsers and soldies seem to be alive!

This is the most impressive armoury we have seen so far. There are hundreds of weapons or shields or armors, for humans or horses. The long hallway and how the exhibits are grouped is exceptional.

Its quite nice to see many old medieval things there. Very well placed, they take realy care of it. First sunday of the month is free!

A very impressive collection displayed in an equally impressive series of rooms. Very well displayed and not just for those intrested in armory, these are works of art.

Again only viewed from outside ( on day visit to Turin whilst skiing in Italy). Looks very impressive along with the other buildings in Piazza Castello
