Unlike many churches in Italy, this one is impressive from the outside as well. Inside, it's amazing - very ornate with masses of gold in the decor. It seems to be popular as a place of worship, too, which is not always the case with...More

This is the MOST AMAZING church I have ever been in, and that includes St Peter's in Rome and Lincoln Cathedral. It's not that huge but it is unbelievably beautiful, with astonishing decoration that looks like it was only done last Tuesday. Jawdropping. Go go...More

This is an amazing place to visit. You need to take your time to enjoy all the details. s you enter the cathedral, you are in awe as everything is heavily decorated. I would definitely revisit

This church is MUCH more ornate and elaborate than the Cathedral that houses the Shroud. Many of the side chapels are worth seeing as well. What a great find!

The church is an eclectic collection of architecture, and includes portions of an ancient Roman wall, a Romanesque bell-tower, a baroque set of domes, almost Byzantine, sheltering a gothic icon, with two porticos, one of which has Neoclassic severity. Don't miss it!.

We hiked up here a week ago. The first thing you notice is the panoramic view of Torino and the Po river. The interior of this church is amazing. Also worth visiting is the museum of mountaineering which it appears that few people visit. It...More
