Not only beautiful but alive and active, often with markets. Centre for locals not just tourists & good choices for a meal or drinks Boats & ferries also depart from here

Visit Orta San Giulio and you can't really miss this lovely unspoilt building. It is the focus of the square and is the most lovely little building. Full of charm.

Nice place with a few restaurants and bars (sitting outside), during summer season cultural happenings, boat jetty for all places on the lake. A bit crowded at lunch time due to day tourists, but especially lovely late afternoon and evenings

A small square surrounded by narrow streets. It takes you into the heart of this village, and is worth the walk. Get lost and find this square.

Great place to spend some time having a meal, glass of wine or capuccino and watch the world go by. The place to catch a ferry and just a beautiful place to go.

This has to be one of the prettiest places in all of the Italian lakes, sat on the crystal clear water of the lake, kick back, get an ice cream and relax.
