Here for a wedding - but even if we hadn't been here for the wedding, we would have wanted to check out the Villa - it's a beautiful setting and gives you a great view of Santa Margherita!

Walking around Santa Margherita, we stumbled upon this unexpected gem. The sprawling garden is well kept, and the view is quite nice. If you are in the area, I highly recommend strolling thru the park and taking in the sights.

We went in the early morning before the house was open to visitors, but the walk up and the grounds are beautiful. Worth the climb but for some it can be a bit challenging since it is uneven. Use caution.

Inside the house is nice but nothing special. Unless you really want to go in, I wouldn't bother. Only a few rooms and not really furnished. Took us 5 minutes to go round. Gardens are free though and worth seeing. Lovely views over the sea and a pond with lots of turtles. Worth a bit of a climb and there's a beautiful church next to it.

This is a lovely place to visit and the fact that all the rooms are open and easy for you to walk around is amazing!... beautiful views and murano glass chandeliers in almost every room.... this is a must when you visit Santa Margherita Ligure

Walk up from the port, you will be rewarded with an iconic view of the Tigullio gulf. The walk is reasonably steep so don’t attempt if you have a heart condition, you can drive but parking is difficult

We didn't visit the villa itself, just the public park. The park is well maintained but there is there is no focus to capture your attention. The vegetation also blocks the view of the marina and the town itself. It is just not memorable.

easy to Access, close to Hotel Mediterranean (we had view from room to the parc!), parc is very clean , Access to parc for free, villa is also Museum, visit for 5 Euros

There is an adjoining office where you can buy tickets. It was closed for renovations when we went but I did speak to the curator who said that the complex gets busy in the summertime. You would not get access when there are weddings or functions booked. I suggest you call or email when you are planning to go and ask if they are open for business then and how best to get tickets.
