Yes, it's a bit of a climb, as everything is in Vernazza, but the views are stunning, and the price of 1.5 euros is ridiculously low. What you get is an mazing perspective on this charming town, and a real sense of a defensive castle.

Cost only 1.5 euros and gives you the best view over vernazza so go for it , climb to the top of the tower and pray it's not full of tourists

Overview of the village, for some good photos. Just it. The way to the "castle" is more interesting than the "castle" itself. Actually, after the visit, I think it is most appropriate to call it a tower instead of a castle.

It cost something like €1.50, so why not give it a go. Fun climb to the top of the tower - and we went 10 minutes before closing so it was quiet and chill.

You can get many views of the town, and you do have to pay 2 euros for this one, but it is worth it. Go.

Although there are lots of steps to climb it's well worth it. The views from the top of the castle are amazing. With many of the walking tracks closed this week due to bad weather, we were able to get great photos of Vernazza and...More

All of my reviews of Vernazza line up with visiting all atrractions between 8 am - 10 am during high season, May - September. The Castello has a very cool vantage point and is highly recommended!

Was fun climbing stairs to top of village to get to the Castello. Views of the village and harbour are great. The 1.5 euro charge goes to a good cause.

This is only 1,50 euro per person, worth paying. It has very nice views. We were up there when the sun was setting.

The couple of euro entry and the steps should not stop anyone visiting the Castello in Vernazza. The views over the Ligurian Sea and looking back at Vernazza and the harbour are well worth the visit. With 360 degree views from the tower it is...More
