When thinking about Rimini, "Ariminum" I would have never thought that it is so rich in history, culture, and roman ruins, testimonials of a grandeur of ancient times.  What a wonderful surprise! You walk through a very tidy, bycicle -friendly, vivid city which captures your...More

Rimini Centro (the city centre) is bustling with things to see and shops to explore. Typically on a Wednesday and Sunday (from May to September) street markets will be open - however I did find the items quite pricey compared to a typical British market....More

February is a great time of year to visit. Shopping is fantastic, prices are really good. Just make sure you know their time schedules.

We had been in town for a few days along the coast and when we had the opportunity to walk into town we were surprised by how different the centre of town is to the coast. Beautiful, elegant and so very Italian.

Even if you are prepared for the trip, to have a guide, who knows history of the place is a big advantage. We had no idea that it was such an important town in ancient history. Many buildings remain intact and atmosphere is very pleasant.

Rimini centro is a nice place to visit. It has an very long history and has still plenty of it to show. You should definitively go there for the history, Architecture, shops and restaurants. The atmosphere is nice and relaxed.

While on resort by the sea you can spend some time in a historical centre with plenty worth seeing sights from Tiberius bridge and August arch from Roman period. You can visit shops and restaurants near by.
