I found Rimini more attractive than expected. There are some interesting things to see and there are several Roman constructions. Rimini is very known for the beach but actually I went here especially to see the city and I was not disappointed.

Visited on a rainy sunday this summer, we didn't understand why everything was closed. Maybe they're all too lazy to work on sundays?

We went to Rimini by bus from Torre Pedrea in the late afternoon. Maybe our expectations were too high, but the centre was a bit disappointing. The historical setting is definitely worth a visit, but I missed the atmoshere, the cozyness.

In my opinion Rimini city centre is not included in the top 10 Italian historical centre, but it still has a lot of great gems, including a lot of well preserved Roman ruins. Worth at least half a day stroll
