The beautiful Arco di Augusto stands at the south eastern end of Via Corso di Augusto (a busy shopping street). This is the oldest surviving Roman arch in the world. It was erected in 27 BC to honour Gaius Julius Caesar Augustus at the intersection...More

The monumental structure reminds of the greatness of Rome. The bas-reliefs of the arch can be seen in the Museum of Rimini.

it has been preserved very well. Really impressive for size and majesty. Beautiful to be able to touch it and sit close.

A large Roman arch, see it from both sides. A good starting point for sightseeing in the old city center.

The original entrance to the Roman town of Ariminium is still standing strong and actually acts as a gateway to the city's main shopping street. There's not much else to say: there it is. See it and marvel that it is still there,

An impressive structure with lots of history, this arch is imposing against the Rimini skyline. Info boards give you its history down the ages, as it stands guard to the inner city, even today.
