There are not many buildings left of the Ostrogoths, I doubt there is an other one. So to be able to see this unique building is something special. We couldn't get in because it was only open on sunday mornings in the summer. We only...More

This used to be a palace and has pretty well preserved floor mosaics as well. Worth visiting as if in the area.

Located directly next door to our Hotel Palazzo Bezzi, this structure looked unassuming from the outside, but holds a great mosaic floor collection upstairs. They also host special private events, including a grand piano music concert one evening. Pretty cool actually, and free admission. Right...More

Walking along the Via Romea you notice this special palazzo. At first glance you don't see the sign that you can enter and walk inside. There are great mosaics to be seen.

The building was not palace of gothic ruler Theodoric, but is worth of visit since it's free and inside there are original flour mosaics of the real Theodoric's palace.

There is not much to see at Palazzo di Teodorico; however it's free so if you happen to be in the surroundings you can pop in for a quick visit.
