Great place to see some beautiful mosaics. Since it is smaller you can really see the detail even on the ceiling. Worth visiting. Included in the common fee for the in town sights.

There are 5 sites in Ravenna that contain 4th - 6th century Byzantine style mosaics. It’s the reason tourists visit this small city. Some of the images are extraordinary, like the one of John baptizing Christ.

Small and intimate place to see Mosaics in Ravenna. We found it much more spiritual than the larger churches.

This one is not on the combined ticket and costs I think 1 euro, which you do via a machine. There was an attendant there to assist. I was the only one in there. This one's mosaic looks very similar to the Neon Baptistry, however,...More

The intimacy of the Battistero was as exceptional as all the other mosaics we saw, but each in it’s own special way is exceptional and very special to enjoy and treasure as a memory

This is one of the many battisteros that exits in Ravenna and this one is oabsolutely worth visit because it has such great mosaics with incredible visual illusions. Beautiful and worth 16 minutes of your visit to Ravenna

This tiny baptistery is not included in the main Duomo ticket but is worth popping in for a small fee. Pay by cash in a machine at the entrance.

In the early middle ages, the Arians were important rivals of the Orthodox Church. This little monument, with beautiful mosaics, is not included in the better known monuments which have a collective ticket, but for one euro more, this is not to be missed either.

This church is run by the city and not the church as this sect was suppressed in the 5th century it’s only €1 to enter and it has very natural depictions of saints and Jesus and that is why it was suppressed. Beautiful
