Authentic atmosphere in a cosy and welcoming square. It is situated at the end of a walking street, like a little treat you get at the end of your walk. My favourite place in Piacenza, has a cathedral, few cafes, shops and garden and is...More

I was lucky enough to visit this incredible church while there was a special exhibition going on, and parts of the building which aren't normally accessible were, if you took the tour. I did, and boy was I glad I did.

A beauty in the center of the city, right on the Piazza Duomo, you can admire the high bell tower with a gold Angel on top. Inside is imposing, with some real piece of art to admire

The gothic sense of this giant cathedral is amazing to me, and it highlights the sense of power and majesty that was in this town. This lovely town.

Piacenza is a typical Italian city much under rated by comparison with Parma but worth a detour. The Duomo is splendid and for the best view of the City and surrounding countryside take the lift up the outside of the tower. This is a temporary...More

We visited it on Sunday morning before the Sunday Mass. It was quite and a great moment to visit. The Church is beautiful and there is also the opportunity to go up by lift to the tower and get a view of the city landscape.
