My wife and I visited the Caseificio San Pier Damiani while on a tour. Nothing is better than genuine Parmesan-Reggiano cheese, and it was fascinating to see the meticulous care with which it’s made.

We visited this dairy today and we're able to watch the Parmesan making process from beginning to end. They do a fantastic job of explaining everything and show you into all parts of the facility. Delicious cheese, too!

Educational. Recommend an English speaking guide ( book ahead) , to better understand the process steps, aging, grading, & distribution. Prompt start 08:20 , approx. 2 hours, finale light tasting & beverage in the retail site..
