During the afternoon when an opera is scheduled that evening, the singers will open the second floor window which is shown here to the right and perform an individual piece with piano accompaniment. A very pleasant surprise and an excellent free performance.

Mostly a historical museum, this is definitely a place for those with an interest in Parma's musical / theatrical history. All the exhibits are in Italian, but the receptionist was kind enough to provide us with a translation book. Not expensive at all, and worth...More

Very nice tribute to the composers and musicians of the past. Nothing in English so have to appreciate the visuals.
