This is a restored theatre from the Farnese time almost all in wood, housed in one of the palaces in the heart of Parma. Great exhibitions, great visit

I could not have been more overawed by this beautiful, huge space. The woodwork alone is amazing. It was a breathtaking experience. I only wish that I could see a performance here.

Beautiful wood constructed theatre with productions still going on. Incredible murals , sculptures and you can also see the wood construction behind the bleachers BUT the best is hidden in the galleries behind.
