How often can you come within inches of the work of Leonardo da Vinci . The drawing of a young girl in this gallery is exquisite and the highlight of the many renaissance religious and other works.

The collection, especially the early Renaissance works were first rate. There were other rooms that were less attractive, but overall it's an excellent museum .

The ok artwork housed in this nice palace is some of the most poorly administered I have seen anywhere. Definitely not worth the trip.

It was a real privilege to see one of the very few oils Leonardo completed. This head of a beautiful young girl with tousled hair is called La Scapigliata. Other significant works are by Coreggio and Caravaggio.
