A laid back and wonderful experience. We grabbed a cab in gorgeous Modena to get to Hombre; great to not have to worry about navigating--others on our tour who drove themselves were 30 minutes late and pretty much missed the very interesting cheese portion. The...More

This was an interesting place to spend a few hours and learn something. Even though you don't actually get to see the cheese making process, the guide gives a good run down on everything. You're taken into the cool room where 8000 wheels of Parmigiano...More

You need a car to get to the Hombre - it is on a farm pretty much in the middle of nowhere. We paid 5 Euros per adult (children were free) for a personal, English language tour of the parmesan ageing room and motor museum....More

We had an amazing event at the farm. We had the owner showing the property around. The top Italian chef prepared an amazing dinner inside the Maserati museum in the farm. It was an amazing experience. Everybody was very passionate.

This tour is all about how to make the best cheese in the world. Very welcoming staff, very cheap, beautiful place and the taste is divine

We visited this place after the Lamborghini and Ferrari museum. I have to say it is amazing. The owner is seriously one of the friendliest, helpful people I've met here (and that is saying something). We showed up too late for the tour, and he...More

Looks that the place got so much advertising that they do not care about the visitors. We wanted to buy cheese and we were treated very rudely. No tasting, no explanations, just buy and go. There are much more friendly places. Go to 4 Maddonas...More

Heard a lot about this place and it was well worth it. Valentina was a lovely guide that answered all of our questions. You go past all the stages of making the famous parmigiano reggiano. We enjoyed the tour very much. The only suggestion I...More

We had a fantastic guided tour of the Hombre Parmigiano-Reggiano factory and the Panini private collection of Maserati Cars. Our guide - Federica, from Modenatur was fantastic. It was well worth it to understand the passion behind both the cheese production and Maserati cars. It...More
