This is the bar to go to in Bologna. Bring your own food, soak up the atmosphere and enjoy the lively get-togethers of the locals. Great range of wines, shared tables, fascinating photos on the walls, remember the routine with the key to the loo...More

Its not an osteria, regardless of the name -- its a wine bar -- but its been there in Bologna's Quadrilatero neighborhood since 1465, which in itself is reason enough to go. The crowds are local, the wine is delicious, and its always packed. Don't...More

The small bar is a gem in the middle of Bologna. It is the oldest bar in Bologna and is pack with character. they only serve alcoholic beverages but the drinks are cheap, the location is excellent and atmosphere is beyond compare.

Fantastic place. A small easy to miss doorway in an alley off via Pescherie Vecchie leads into this historic bar. Inside it’s shared wooden tables and array of mismatched chairs and benches line the walls covered in old pictures and photos. Old men playing cards...More
