Oldest osteria in Europe. Stop at the market and pickup up items for snack or lunch then stop in, pull up a chair and order your favorite beverage. Great to see the locals in action.

Great place to wile away a few hours with beer red wine and good company. Established in 1465! Buy some Italian nibbles at Simone’s around the corner first. Well worth it.

Since 1465, people have been meeting here, and one can see why. It's casual and welcoming. You can bring in your own food, and each person must purchase a beverage. Don't miss this historic stop!

Loved this place. Such a great feel and very friendly staff. Great to sit among locals who bring in their own food to have alongside their drinks.

This bar, supposedly the oldest In Bologna, was always rammed, day and night. We were determined to visit but couldn't get in the first couple of times we attempted. Third time lucky! Quieter on the Monday but still great fun, friendly atmosphere! Definitely not plush!...More

Stumbled across this, and fancied going inside, just because it was so busy on a Monday evening. Fantastic place. Packed full of friendly, loud, happy people. Very cheap wine (2,50€ a glass) and from what I could see, you can bring your own food -...More
