Mostly religious but also many interesting portraits and beautiful frescoes. Definitely worth a few hours. For those traveling with under 19s entrance is free, and over 60s, reduced admission!

Visited this museum as it was included free with the Bologna Welcome Card. The staff do not speak English here. There is an English booklet to look at in each room with details of the paintings and exhibits. Each room is numbered and follow on...More

The Civic Fine Arts Museum (Collezioni Comunali D'Arte) is located in Palazzo d'Accursio in Piazza Maggiore .Its contains wonderful paintings from the Middle Ages to the 19th century. Wonderful buiding with ceilings and walls
