Mostly religious but also many interesting portraits and beautiful frescoes. Definitely worth a few hours. For those traveling with under 19s entrance is free, and over 60s, reduced admission!

It was nice to visit it, beautiful building. I liked the Trinity picture of Jesus very much. Not many visitors during the week.

The Civic Fine Arts Museum (Collezioni Comunali D'Arte) is located in Palazzo d'Accursio in Piazza Maggiore .Its contains wonderful paintings from the Middle Ages to the 19th century. Wonderful buiding with ceilings and walls

There’s really no excuse for not visiting the Comunali D’Arte when in Bologna, because it’s on Piazza Maggiore in the city centre. Entrance to the building itself, plus some of the work rooms and the impressively ornate council chamber, is free. These alone are worth...More
