The Cathedral is worth a climb. The panoramic view at the top is stunning. The cathedral itself is not big as expected but still worth visiting.

When you eventually get to the top the views of the harbour are breathtaking, particularly the views of the ship yard where you can look down on all the various stages of construction. The cathedral is also quite impressive although small by Italian standards!

When you reach the cathedral, not only is this a beautiful place but the views are quite stunning, it is a winding walk up hill but well worth a visit.

Make sure you stretch, because this is a walk up. Worth the views when reaching the top. Beautiful church inside and outside.

The entrance is impressive with the lions guarding the entrance. The cathedral is vast inside albeit somewhat conservative in comparison with some of the other churches in the city and indeed Italy. That said it has a unique calmness about it. Go into the crypt,...More
