This might get lost amongst all the historic monuments and buildings and attractions in Rome, but I believe this is an important landmark. The work by Borromini must be seen in person and appreciated. I recommend this fully

The Oratorio dei Filippini (Oratory of Saint Phillip Neri) is yet another gorgeous building built by Borromini, between 1637 and 1650. While you can admire the facade from the street, the building is closed for stabilization and restoration. We went through an open door off to the right and you can get into a little courtyard that has placards (in Italian and English) discussing the interior (which is closed to the public at this time) and the plans to restore the building.
