Laura and Irene were phenomenal tour guides in Rome. Our experience of the Vatican, Colosseum, and Ancient Roman ruins would not have been the same experience without their knowledge and guidance. They were both amazing. My friends and I can't thank you enough! This was a once in a lifetime experience!

We did a tour of the Vatican with Irene and we had such a great experience that we booked a tour of the Collesium/Forum with her for later in our trip. Irene was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. She provided us with all the essential information you would expect from a historian but also included really interesting and fun tidbits. It was really easy to book these and Irene was very responsive to my questions. Wear comfortable shoes and bring an umbrella if you go in the Spring!

Absolutely fantastic. Irene's knowledge and enthusiasm brought the history of Rome to life for us as we walked the Vatican museums, Sistine Chapel, St Peter's Basilica, and the Roman Forum and Colosseum with her. She challenged our imaginations as she discussed Rome's political and artistic history. Loved every minute we were with her.

Irene is, quite simply, a terrific tour guide. Having lived and worked in Rome her whole life, she knows every inch of the city and its remarkable history. She took us to both the Vatican Museum and the Colloseum, both great experiences made much more full and rich because we were able to learn the history - both real and myth - of these two extraordinary places.

We were so lucky to receive a fantastic tour of the Vatican Museum and St. Peter's Basilica from our tour guide, Irene. Her vast knowledge, incredible energy, passion for art history and superb english made the tour both fascinating and enjoyable.
I highly recommend using this tour group! You will not be disappointed!

We had friends recommend Nicola from Amazing Rome Tours before we left for Italy. We contacted him via email to set everything up. Nicola couldn't have been more accommodating of our needs. He rearranged his schedule to make sure our tours took place. We spent 3.5 hours at the vatican and St. Peter's. His knowledge of what to see and the history was just incredible - made everything come to life. The next day, we met him for another 3.5 hour tour of the Colosseum and Forum. Again, Nicola's knowledge of the history of the area was nothing short of amazing. He made sure that we saw all the highlights and left with a greater appreciation of the history of the Roman Empire. I would recommend Nicola to anyone going to Rome and looking for a private tour!

Irene led our tour and was full of enthusiasm. I learnt lots of interesting facts, and we visited many of the key sites in Rome. The audio system worked well, and meant that you didn't miss any of the points that were said. Highly recommended.

Irene made her tour interesting and enjoyable. She is very knowledgeable and has the ability to really engage with her group. She has a lively sense of humour and her obvious love for her city shines through. She was able to explain the past and tie it in with the present and give a sense of how the locals feel about their city. She is also very considerate, ensuring that we stopped in the shade whenever possible and encouraging us to make the use of the free drinking water from the fountains. I would recommend her.

Had an amazing experience in the Colosseum, the Palatine Hill, the Pantheon and Piazza Navona with Irene. She has great knowledge of her city, plenty of stories, yet very precise and rigorous, very professional. She takes you through a fascinating trip in the antique Rome. She is sweet, very welcoming, cares much of everybody in her group. Obviously rates 5 stars.
