Our private tour guide Mateo took us to this wonderful neighborhood. This beautiful Garden of Oranges afforded a stunning view of the city of Rome. It is located on top of the Aventino Hill and is next to the Santa Sabino Church.

An oasis of calm with soothing music and the gentle spray of water sprinklers. Linger here for a few to soak in the views across the Tiber before heading to the serinity of Santa Sabina.

A bit out of the way, but it's way worth the walk. Good amount of shade for a kip or rest. And the view of Rome is one of the best

Contrary to the chaos of the city, the Aventine is
Rome’s oasis. A neighbourhood made up of a patchwork
of ancient churches, hidden gardens, private homes and
embassies, peace and quiet is top priority and the
vibe definitely friends and family. Take a walk around
the Aventine and you’ll find a treasure hunt of
surprises like the clever little keyhole at the
Knights of Malta entrance (the only place you’ll find
