Who am I to pretend to be a good judge? But I did feel portions were small and the gnocchi didn’t melt in your mouth like it did when I had it for lunch elsewhere. But the view and ambiance couldn’t be better.

I didn't have a bad experience or anything, I just think the food wasn't that good. We're in Rome, the capital of Italy, dining next to the Pantheon and the food just wasn't good. I'm thinking to myself, "I can find Italian food in Seoul...More

This square with a fountain and obelisk in the centre is next to the Pantheon. It is a touristy and busy area with restaurants, shops and street performers. A nice place to people watch and take some photos of the Pantheon..

The plaza is actually defined by its proximity to the Pantheon and to a delightful Baroque creation of a fanciful fountain. The plaza is nothing unusual or particularly noteworthy otherwise. The interest for us was how a 20 foot tall, red marble obelisk from one...More

It’s in a good location adjacent to the Pantheon but it’s surrounded by over-priced food places and very busy.

Rome has so many wonderful squares filled with lots of cozy cafes and pizzerias. This square is located directly across from the Pantheon so it was on our way. I would have to say that compared to the other squares in Rome, this one did...More

As with so many of Rome's wonderful squares, when we arrived at the Piazza della Rotonda opposite the Pantheon, there was a sea of people enjoying themselves - some sitting almost up against the fountain, some kids running around, tourist families orienting themselves and deciding...More

We always stay in the quiet Piazza Monte Citorio but, never fail to enjoy walking down an looking around Piazza Rotunda. Yes it's 'tourist central', crowded and bustling, but it's great fun. Yes the Pantheon is there (you cant miss it!) and there's a fountain...More

It really depends the type of place you stay in. I stayed in a lovely small hotel about 4 doors down for about 200AUD a night
