A beautiful little gem of a museum by the foot of The Spanish Steps. A must for any Keats and/or Shelley lover. In fact, a must for any literary lover.

Really enjoyed learning more about Keats' life and other poets from the romantic era. The main salon is a book lover's dream; the smell is amazing and all those beautiful old leather bound books are so satisfying to look at!

This is a small museum - the house where Keats and Shelley lived in Rome and where Keats died. Standing in his bedroom, imagining him overlooking the Spanish Steps was a special experience. It offers a glimpse into the lives and times of the romantic...More
