What remains of the Aurelian Walls is a testament to ancient architecture. Remnants of these ancient fortifications stand scattered through out the city.

We didn’t get to get down and take pics of the Roman Walls. We did that at Porta Nigra in Germany but it was still so cool to drive past the Roman Walls and marvel that they are still preserved.

you can see parts of the walls everywhere. it is just amazing at the strength that was built into these. you cannot walk on them, you just can see them

The ancient walls were built to protect the city from Barbarians and other invaders in its history. You will find parts of the wall around the city, some of it is well preserved.
