Wow! What else can you say about this place. The number of visitors per day are limited to 3,000 and the underground and arena areas are done in small groups so even less can see them. It is well worth booking into a small group...More

Amazing place but without a guide you’ll A) queue forever and B) miss out on a lot of information. Also watch out at closing time if you need the toilet! Only incidence of rudeness in all our time in Rome came from staff refusing to...More

What an amazing historical site, the view is stunning. If you can get a tour on the arena floor, it is well recommended as you can almost see what the gladiators would have seen all those years ago. You'd have to be daft not to...More

Definitely buy your tickets before you get there, and definitely go as early to when it opens as you possibly can. It gets really crowded really fast. Totally a must-see though.

west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as
it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet
for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season,
quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its
cobblestone streets. The neighbourhood supports unique
and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime
residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at
