I had always wanted to visit the colosseum and I was not disappointed. The history, the engineering, the building expertise which is demonstrated here is unbelievable. We took a tour which we purchased at the colosseum on the day and had a very good guide...More

The Colosseum is a bucket list item. Don't let the selfistick vendors let you down. Buy your tickets online and pick them at the Roman forum to sick the line. Take lots of pictures and imagine what had occurred a long time ago.

Hard to imagine how many humans and animals died here for the amusement of others. The place had a sad feeling of lost souls, but is an amazing place to see for oneself.

We didn’t ask price - just talking and one thing led to another. Agree they should be avoided! Next time we’ll not engage.
