Bought the "Ultimate" Papal audience that happens on Weds mornings on Viator. Short version: 1. Didn't hear Pope talk at all, told to leave early before he began! 2. Avoided outside line, but not hour long line into Sistine chapel 3. Did not avoid ANY...More

Not only are they annoyingly persistent but they are also rude and not worth what you end up paying for. They tell you that you’ll skip the line, only to send you to another line. The first day we scheduled the trip at the Colosseum...More

Booked our tour from inticket at metro station. Your tour will start at 13:30 she said, go to tour office and make your final payment. Sure we naively thought. Arrived at 13:15 to ensure we were there for a prompt start. Oh but the tour...More

We were advised to meet at the offices in Rome at 3pm sharp to depart on a tour of the Vatican. Italy is pretty relaxed about time frames and scheduling, so it is understandable that there can be slight delays. Our guide was over an...More

Wow, what a fantastic tour and guide we had! Maritsella (hopefully spelling her name correctly). She introduced herself to everyone in the tour and remembered all our names, considering we were over 10 that’s pretty impressive. She had all the answers for our 10 year...More

The tour was going quite well until just before the Sistine Chapel, the tour guide was very unclear where to go and we ended up getting the wrong exit leaving the museum, this meant we didn’t get to go into the basilica, when I went...More

My wife & I were walking back to our accommodation from the colosseum when we were approached by a beautifully presented lady handing out romearound tours brochure. She mentioned the Vatican so we took a risk & booked then and there - The best tour...More

We had Therese (one of the staff in time around), she helped us to book both guide to colosseum and Vatican museum in a perfect schedule even when this was spontanous. Great staff and trustworthy.

We spent 80 euros for a 3 hour tour. Our guide was very good, Mariana (If I remember right) she talked non stop for the whole time but due to the sheer volume of people, it was near impossible to hear her. The guide was...More

The way the company managed the tour was terrible. We were told to be at the agency office at 10.30 am. We actually got in at 12, one hour and a half later. Inside, organization within the place itself is a complete mess (this isn't...More

Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is
the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in
a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is
a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and
wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every
shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and
gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but
that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets,

Not sure which tour you're referring to but if it's the Vatican tour, it's supposed to be 2.5 hours but it was about 3.5 including the time they wasted at the beginning. Cost was $50 per person. The colloseum took from 9:30... More
