It is a must to get on some kind of tours in Pompeii - we booked a 12noon tour but found that the company was still selling tickets even after 12noon, which means everyone had to wait around for a while before the tour started....More

Beware When you get off the train. A "guide" on a red shirt shepherds you to the left. They are not official and charge more for the entree and the audio guides. Go to the right and buy yiur tickets at the park entrance. We...More
