Beautiful church, well worth the visit. Best bit of all is the bell tower next door, take a lift to the top for €2 and get a spectacular view of Pompei, Sorento and the surrounding hill.

Not far from the amphitheater entrance to the site, a beautiful and imposing Roman Catholic cathedral and Marian pontifical shrine to Virgin of the Rosary, consecrated by end of the 19th century. Very crowded on Sunday with locals and tourists alike.

It looks similar to any other ones. The location is beautiful since its sitting right by many shops and dining areas! Take a few snap shots as we did and you’re good to go!

Suggestion: contact the church directly? The info is on their web site. I would not hesitate to write in English - many people in the area are very fluent.
