Stunning gallery with often changing exhibitions. Take the time to explore all levels including the rooftop, and ponder a contemporary perspective of Naples. Check ahead when new exhibitions are opening so you don't miss anything.
I had the goal of going to the MADRE as my first activity in Naples- let me tell you that space is deceptively hard to find if you, like me, speak no Italian and have never been to the city, but I am so glad...More
The museum is a big beautiful gallery filled with mind opening and interesting pieces that will make you go wow, and take out your camera for a few pictures. It costed me only 4 Euros because i am under 25.

Really loved this place! Both the building itself and all the art in it. Well worth a visit of you like contemporary art.
When I was here I found an exibititon with art from today mixed with amazing pieces from old Pompeii. Really interesting!
This museum is a nice, peaceful, quiet escape in bustling, noisy Naples. It is a nice change from traditional Italian art. The museum is small and quiet. Admission on Mondays is free, so worth a visit.
We were recommended this place in numerous apps and websites and it really did disappoint. The so-called art was mostly just vanity projects by jumped up tossers. However the very few actual art pieces that were there were good. Only go to this place if...More
