My fiancé and I had a very brief visit to Castel Nuovo and we really enjoyed it. It’s an outstanding building with incredibly history and if you are visiting Naples then this is a must visit for anyone who is interested in history and culture.

You can certainly take photos here; if you go to see the underground excavations you will benefit from a flash. Be aware though that this is a fort - there aren't the lavish interiors that you would expect to see in a... More
You can certainly take photos here; if you go to see the underground excavations you will benefit from a flash. Be aware though that this is a fort - there aren't the lavish interiors that you would expect to see in a palace. It is more about its structural features for military defence.
