We were fortunate to stay very close to the Duomo. This gave us the opportunity to visit the Duomo when it was very quiet and also to marvel at the beautiful exterior illuminated in the dark night.

This is a nice cathedral in the heart of the city center. It isn’t as magnificent as others but it’s dark interior is still quite magnificent. Do visit.

We wandered past the Duomo on Friday night and went into the church to see Friday night mass happening. It is beautifully lit up at night, inside and out.
