Really interesting to see the sculpture of the veiled Christ but there are lots of other sculptures around the chapel worth looking at carefully too. In the heart of the old town so easily accommodated in a walking tour.

A must see while in Naples. Absolutely beautiful - an amazing sculpture of Christ. Seriously, how is this marble? Also, the reconstruction of the two human bodies is incredible!

We saw this magnificent masterpiece carved by the young Neapolitan artist, Giuseppe Sammartino in 1753. It looks so real with the delicate veil covering the body of Christ. Can not recommend this highly enough.
