The centre of the Capri Town. Near to where you can catch the Fernicula railway and buses.
Very very busy.
Lots of tourists.
Fairly small, packed with restaurants. Have to walk through here to get to the other parts of Capri town.
This is a decent place to sit and have a coffee or some light lunch while in Capri. People-watchers haven. It was very busy when we visited and is very touristy (probably not an ideal place for a big family or with young kids to...More
We came up on the funiculare to be greeted by throngs of tourists and temperatures approaching 30 centigrade. Shade was a premium and prices were overinflated. The children were wilting and we couldn't wait to get back to our boat!
Capri is full of Tourists just milling around. It’s high and compact, a island on a island. Not much to do on top of Capri except walk, shop, eat and watch. One has to see this island when in the area.
An attractive square with the usual Italian fittings. A pleasant enough area to sit and cool off with a drink and people watch but you do pay somewhat over the odds for the privilege here and it can get quite crowded.
Typical Italian piazza with church and stores around central open area. Added bonus of view off mountain down to the water below and Naples and Sorrento across the bay. Also where you access the lift that takes you back down to the water.
This place is beautiful. My sister & I would get a table at the Gran Cafe and people watch. The cafes are pricey but this is Capri so splurge! We amused ourselves looking at the people all dressed up and we even saw a celebrity...More
This is where the funicular drops you off in Capri, so it's pretty hard to miss. Busy spot with some shops and restaurants. Good for people watching I guess, too busy for me so we didn't stick around long.
