It takes stamina to walk up to Villa Jovis but it is worth the climb. It takes about an hour and twenty minutes from the Piazetta to walk the path almost straight up to the ruins but once you are there the views in all...More
A 50 minute walk from the centre of town up-hill to Villa Jovis, but well worth it. The houses all have beautiful gardens and so it is rather like a walk in a botanical garden, lush, green and colourful. We happened to be there the...More
We made the 45mins trek up to Villa Jovis whilst staying on Capri and it was a great place to explore. The ruins are interesting to walk round and the clifftop church offers wonderful panoramic views. It was a little disappointing that there is no...More
