I did not know about this beautiful grotta. It was a pleasant surprise to see the coral growing just under the water line. Beautiful in different shades of red. This is part of the boat tour around the island

We rented a boat and toured the island on our own. It was the highlight of our trip to Italy. We stocked the small open hull boat with a cooler and took a map. We stopped at the grottos, arches, and rock formations at will....More

Our captain showed us lots of grotto's but this was was the most interesting to me. Just watching the water level go up and down to reveal the red colour was pretty cool

The grottos are amazing and world class. They can be all toured in one day via a private charter or a group boat. They are a must see and worth swimming in!

Worth seeing if part of a tour but not exclusively. Not as pretty. Hard to see the colours. Crowds was also very annoying

This red "grotta" was easy to see from the boat but not as impressive as it was tucked low in the water and to my eye did not show its red color like the other grottos.

It was an nice stop along the way of the boat tour, but not one of the best, scenic grottos. It may be better in the morning when the sun is on that side of the island.
