Lovely square of bars to sit out at and dine in the evenings. Picturesque views. Very close to the seafront.

This is a lovely central spot in Sorrento. Bordered by pavement bars and cafes, it is especially atmospheric in the evening light. Wander here to enjoy views down to the Marina Grande and behind a short stroll to peer down into the valley of the...More

Really busy square in the centre of Sorrento. It appears that wherever you go in Sorrento you pass through the Piazza Tasso, whether on foot or by car. Bars & cafes all around the piazza where local & tourists converge to sit with an ice-cream...More

This a lively all day but it comes to life at night time when the authorities pedestrianise the area. It is full of bars, cafés and restaurants and is close to historical centre and port.

We holiday in Sorrento every year and every year the traffic seems to be getting worse, not very pleasant experience and dangerous. What a pity. Sorrento is a beautiful town but spoilt by the cars and scooters.

This is the place where locals ànd tourists meet. Best to visit in the evening when people dress up and stroll alongside the ever-so-appealing terrazzas.... hint : visit the Fauna Bar, ask for a glass of Prosecco and you won't be disappointed!

The Piazza is in the heart of the city center and begins the pedestrian only portion of Corso Italia. It is a great location to have a meal and/or a drink and just observe the endless amount of colorful and interesting people.

Though traffic is no longer allowed along the full length of the Via Corso Italia Piazzo Tasso remains the heart of Sorrento. The place to watch this part of the world go by.
