looks are deceiving because from the main street it doesn't look like somewhere that holds such a lovely interior. Pay it a visit - you won't be disappointed

Right in the middle of Sorrento and in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the city centre. This Cathedral is very interesting and special!

This cathedral does not look particularly special from outside but is speculated inside. The nativity scene on entry is amazing and has so much detail you can spend ages taking it in. Inside the cathedral are many paintings depicting biblical stories or catholic tradition, make...More

Answer: too many to count. I was amazed by the ornate artistry in this cathedral, including many golden candlesticks, inlaid wood and various types of pictures. The large diorama of the nativity scene in Sorrento, fairly takes your breath away.

I tend not to going inside many Churches, but I was glad I entered this one. The Paintings on the ceiling are very impressive, along with the wood inlaid panels depicting the stations of the cross
